Back in January 2025, my wife Yao and I had just moved into a new home. It was exciting, of course, but something felt… incomplete. We missed the warmth of our old space — the cozy glow that made evenings feel special. One day, we brought home a nostalgic little lamp — just like the one we had, and in that moment, something clicked. That soft light evoked memories, comfort, and a profound sense of belonging.
We realized: it’s not just furniture or décor that makes a house a home. It’s the feeling, and sometimes, it’s a simple lamp that brings it to life.
That’s how Homira was born.
Starting this brand wasn’t easy. We flew to Zhongshan, China — the heart of the world’s lamp industry, to find manufacturers who shared our values. We oversaw the entire process, from design and materials to craftsmanship, ensuring each piece meets our standards of quality, durability, and emotional connection. It was a lot for a team of two, but we believed in it, and we knew you would too.
